Lifestyle, genetic predisposition and aging, as well as tea, coffee, cigarettes, red wine consummation, may affect the discoloration of teeth. By the invention of the laser teeth whitening method, this problem has never been easier to resolve.

In our office we use the latest generation of equipment for laser teeth whitening. The very process, along with the preparation, lasts for 90 minutes, is painless and, most importantly, has no negative consequences. Teeth whitening system is based on the use of hydrogen peroxide gel that is applied to the teeth and special UV lamps that do not heat and do not damage teeth but have a role to accelerate the process of whitening.

New color after bleaching will last from two to five years. Old teeth color gradually returns, so if you do not repeat the treatment, while maintaining proper hygiene, the color will still be brighter than the “original”.

On what basis does teeth whitening function?

The trick is in chemistry. If you think of school and compounds of hydrogen peroxide or carbamide peroxide, then you already know a lot.
The molecules of these compounds are small enough to be pushed through the enamel (the outer layer of the tooth) and imperceptibly sneak into dentin (the next layer) where they decompose into water and oxygen.
The water evaporates, and the oxygen, by the processes of oxidation, whitens teeth. It looks simple, but this short explanation was preceded by many years of research of scientists. Of course, both water and oxygen are non-toxic, so any further witness about whether this is a harmless procedure is unnecessary.
